What is CanRise AI internship program
CanRise is a digital platform that connects you, an aspiring AI Content Assistant with a vetted local business to work on an AI Content creation project for one month. The local business will provide the apprentice with declassified business information and a business problem they intend to solve with AI. The apprentice will provide insights, recommendation and solutions for the business problems by analyzing the existing digital content to provide business value.
The local business will teach the apprentice about the business through one-on-one mentorship, hands-on experience, and real-world projects for their business. Internships are one month long, completely remote, and always free.
How do AI internships work?
During your first week as a new apprentice, you will be onboarded to your mentor's business. You will discuss how you can help the business reach it's goals and how the business can help you reach your goals. You will then spend the rest of your apprenticeship achieving these specific goals. At the end of the apprenticeship, you get a certificate that you can add to your portfolio page or LinkedIn account, experience to add to your resumé and portfolio, freelancing experience, and a reference. We also suggest building a portfolio of your work because digital content creation is a very visual field.
How will I be prepared for the job market?
Completing a apprenticeship on CanRise will equip you with real-world work experience that you can add to your resume and LinkedIn profile, give you the confidence that you need to stand out in job interviews, and allow you to build connections with industry professionals that can support you in your job search with reference letters, referrals, or even a job offer.
What is the time commitment?
As an apprenticeship, you will need to commit 10 hours a week for one month. This time will be spent being onboarded to your mentor's business, having one-on-one calls with your mentor, and working on apprenticeship projects and tasks.

Yes. The CanRise experience is always 100% free for interns, this includes access to lessons, connecting with mentors, starting internships, and getting certified. CanRise experience is designed to get you job-ready for free.
Do I need work experience?
No. You can find and start an apprenticeship with little to no work experience. What matters most is your willingness, eagerness to learn, ambition, work ethic, commitment, and communication skills. If you lack digital content creation experience, you can learn foundation knowledge with CanRises' free courses.
How can I start an internship?
To start, you can explore available internships to find exactly what you want. Next, you'll create an CanRise profile and submit it to the admissions team for approval. Once your profile has been approved, you'll be able to chat with mentors and apply to open internships. After you find a mentor that's a good fit, you can sign the volunteer labor contract and start your internship.
